Ben and the team
Ben Zatwardnicki started Guildford Window Cleaning Services in 2010 with one van and a water-fed pole. Today he runs a small, local team, and he is still the person who quotes your job, answers the phone and keeps an eye on every round.
The team have lived and worked in and around Guildford all their lives, so you get the same friendly faces visit after visit, not a call centre and a different crew each time. Look out for the van. It’s probably already on your road.
How it works, day to day
No surprises: reminders, weather & cancellations
Reminder the day before
You’ll get a text (or email if you prefer) the afternoon before every visit, so side gates can be unlocked and cars moved. If we can’t get access on the day we clean what we can reach and let you know.
Rain doesn’t stop play
Pure water dries spot-free, so light rain makes no difference to the finish. In severe weather we’ll rearrange and text you a new date.
Cancelling or pausing
No contracts. Skip a visit or pause your round any time. Just reply to the reminder text or message Ben by 6pm the day before. Visits cancelled on the day, or where we can’t get access after arriving, may be charged at the normal rate.
Paying
Bank transfer or standing order for regular rounds, or cash on the day. You’ll get a message with the amount after each clean, nothing to pay up front.

Gutter clears are priced per property, based on its size, the gutter style, how full they are and access. Downpipes and hoppers are included with no hidden extras, and we send before and after photos to your phone so you can see exactly what was done.
Do you still clean windows when it rains?
Yes. We clean with purified water, so light rain doesn't mark the glass. It's mineral deposits, not rainwater, that cause spots. If the weather is severe we'll rearrange and let you know by text.
How often will you visit?
You choose: 4-weekly, 6-weekly, 8-weekly, 12-weekly or a one-off. We send a text or email reminder the day before every visit. No contracts. Pause or cancel any time before 6pm the day before.
What if I need to cancel or skip a visit?
Just reply to the reminder text or message Ben by 6pm the day before and we'll skip you at no charge. Cancellations on the day, or visits where we can't get access after arriving, may be charged at the normal rate.

What is pure-water / water-fed pole cleaning?
We filter tap water to 000ppm purity and pump it up a telescopic pole with a soft brush. Pure water dissolves dirt and dries completely clear, with no detergents and no smears, and it reaches third-storey windows safely from the ground.
